Technology Transfer Unit | > Mission | | > Intervention Areas | | The mission of the Technology Transfer Unit is to increase the offer of new technologies, promoting and facilitating the transfer to the market of innovations and research, developed by the R&D departments, as well as to contribute for the economical development of Portugal, through the support to the creation of start-ups and spin-offs. | | The Unit centres its activities in two different areas. The first longs to eliminate the technological needs of the companies, through the intermediation of technologies and R&D results from Universities and STS Entities. The second is based in the support to entrepreneurship of technological base, looking to define and determine the business model of the clients. | | | | | > Services
| | > Projects | The services are directed to Universities and STS Entities, Companies and Entrepreneurs. Simultaneously, the Unit is responsible for the execution and management of R&D projects of National ( QREN) and European ( 7º PQ e CIP) Funding Schemes.
