CLUBINOV is an informal initiative of innovative companies, whose mission is to create a space for cooperation, debate, diffusion and learning in themes related to innovation, exploring therefore synergies among the member companies. Innovation is not only an element of economical and social progress, but also a cooperation factor, since it’s very hard to gather in a single organization all intellectual, material and financial resources in order to develop new products and processes. The constant interaction between innovation agents is a characteristic of the evolved markets, which increases the opportunities in the market. Innovation is a critical driving force for organizations to generate economical progress. Global challenges of innovation lead to a continuous search for information about the involving macro (suppliers, consultants, partners, distributors, clients and competitors) and involving micro (education and training system, technologic and scientific system, informational infrastructure, regulators, financing) and to assimilate or acquire several competences in this field. Many of these competences are externalized and the companies outsource them. Specialized services in creativity, knowledge management, surveillance, technological cooperation and prediction, intellectual and industrial property, technology transfer and assessment, business plans, public funding to stimulate innovation are tools that allow systematizing innovation processes in companies. CLUBINOV eases the access to tools that stimulate innovation, looking to foment the cooperation among its members, which can be expressed in the following ways: -central unit for purchase of innovation services, such as the acquisition of technology to universities, registry of patents, certification of R&DI norms, technological watch, internationalization studies, among others, increasing therefore the business capacity with suppliers; -to intensify the liaison between members and the set of entities which act in the innovation support and entrepreneurial funding, facilitating therefore the achievement of new innovative projects; -to share spaces in fairs or international markets, such as direct sales between members; -to enhance the visibility and notoriousness between the involving macro and micro, associating their brand to an innovative activity; -to share experiences among pairs, promoting the learning through dissemination of acquired knowledge. Inova+ is the enabler company of CLUBINOV and it has invited a set of organizations with a strong innovative feature to join this initiative. CLUBINOV organized its first activity on 27th November, with the theme ‘Stimulation of creativity in companies’ cooperation networks’ The invited spokesman was the creativity guru Tom Fleming, responsible for the study on the ‘Development of a creative industries cluster in the north region of Portugal’, among others. |
